First |FAS Internship Program

On this page

At FAS, talent doesn’t join by chance. It’s a match.

Choosing where to begin a legal career is an important decision. More than gaining experience, it is about finding an environment that makes sense for you, develops your potential, and aligns with the way you envision the future of legal practice.

About the program

First is the official internship program of FAS Advogados, designed to train law students with technical excellence, practical insight into legal practice, and preparation for a long-term career at the firm.

Throughout the journey, interns are integrated into FAS’s routine and actively participate in the areas’ activities, experiencing the day-to-day practice of business law. The program combines work on real cases, continuous training, and mentorship with lawyers and partners, creating a structured learning environment connected to practice.

More than an internship, First is a path for those who want more than to learn: they want to build a career with consistency!

First was designed with a clear goal: to train and develop talent for FAS itself.

Throughout the internship, each intern’s performance is monitored in a structured manner through semiannual evaluations and, depending on their development and our internal opportunities, they may move forward on a hiring path.

This may include being hired as a legal assistant until graduation and approval by the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), or being directly hired as a junior lawyer.

Hiring decisions are communicated transparently and celebrated institutionally, reinforcing the recognition and value placed on each intern’s development throughout the program.

Internship Journey

Throughout the program, interns go through stages that include technical and practical development, behavioral growth, periodic evaluations, and continuous guidance.
