Bill Proposes New Rules for Tourism

The specialists, Bruno Cação and Felipe Felix Brum, from the Hospitality and Tourism area, discussed Bill 1.829/19, which modernizes tourism legislation in Brazil. Approved by the deputies on August 28, the bill expands rights, reduces risks for travel agencies and airlines, and promotes tourism in the country. Among the main changes are the decentralization of Fungetur funds and the inclusion of more sectors in the concept of the tourism service production chain. The proposal now awaits presidential sanction.
