About the event
Counsel and experts have long worked together to transform complex factual records into persuasive cases. Artificial intelligence is now adding another dimension to that relationship: accelerating document and data analysis, identifying patterns, testing assumptions and creating new opportunities for case preparation. Yet technology also raises important questions regarding reliability, transparency, confidentiality and the appropriate role of professional judgment.
Rather than asking whether AI can replace lawyers or experts, this panel will explore a more practical question: how can counsel, experts and AI work together to build and present a successful arbitration case?
Bringing together the perspectives of external counsel, economic and technical experts, an international arbitrator and in-house counsel, the discussion will examine the arbitration lifecycle from the earliest assessment of a dispute through expert analysis, evidentiary strategy and presentation of the case to the tribunal.
The panel will combine practical experience with forward-looking discussion, considering both the opportunities created by emerging technologies and the areas in which human experience, judgment and advocacy remain indispensable.
