FAS Advogados, a full-service law firm in cooperation with CMS, one of the largest law firms in the world, announces the arrival of partners Roberto Scacchetti and Sergio Ferraz e Opice. They will be responsible for strengthening the Dispute Resolution practice and implementing the Crisis Management area, marking the firm's strategic performance in these segments.
Roberto, who holds certifications in Crisis Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard Law School, excels in representing national and international clients in various areas, including litigation, arbitration and out-of-court dispute resolution, contracts, real estate, mining and crisis management. His expertise spans sectors such as energy, aviation, mining, construction, petrochemicals, insurance, and others.

Discussions with the other partners, understanding the firm and its culture, as well as its projects and future growth prospects, coincided with my professional convictions," says Scacchetti.
Sergio Opice, specialized in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School, has extensive experience in conflict resolution, with a focus on mediation and out-of-court negotiations. His practice covers issues related to commercial contracts, competition law, real estate and crisis management. With experience in the agribusiness, petrochemical, mining, automotive and construction sectors, he also works on the submission of concentration acts to CADE and the defence of national and foreign companies in anti-competitive investigations.

The new partners will be part of FAS's team of experts, providing support to clients and contributing to the consolidation of conflict prevention and resolution through alternative methods, a practice that has been gaining ground in the national business market in recent years.

Roberto Scacchetti holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Procedure Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a specialization in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and certifications in Crisis Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard Law School. He is also part of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission of OAB/SP.
Sergio Ferraz e Opice holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a specialization in Business Law from the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). He is a member of the Business Mediation Commission of OAB São Paulo.
