TST Recognizes the Application of the Labor Reform to Previous Contracts

Ana Luisa Fidelis, Labor Law specialist, spoke to Brasília Capital about the decision by the Superior Labor Court (TST), which determined the immediate application of the rules of the Labor Reform (Law No. 13.467/2017) to ongoing employment contracts, regulating rights related to events that occurred after November 11, 2017, even for older contracts. The decision ensures greater legal certainty and is binding for lower courts.
